In just two short years, the iPad has had a dramatic impact upon how technology is used in education. It can accompany learners of all ages in their explorations of the world, engaging both their curiosity and creativity. To assist us in maximizing the potential of the device, we will look at models and frameworks that can help guide both curricular development and classroom use. We will also see how we can rethink the design of learning spaces, using the iPad to integrate the worlds of school and home. And finally, we will see how a 3,800-year-old puzzle is intertwined with the new perspectives afforded by the iPad.
